DTW Driving School Now Offers the 8-Hour Driver's Manual Course in Richmond

Drive-To-Work has an approved DMV Driver's Manual Course which is offered through driver training schools throughout the state. This classroom course is now available in the Richmond region through DTW Driving School, licensed by DMV (#1503-000905). DTW Driving School offers the Course on Saturdays or Sundays as scheduled (check this web site for times) at its permanent offices at 4625 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23230.

What Is Different about the DTW Driving School Driver's Manual Course?

• The instruction: we have qualified and experienced driver education public school teachers presenting the Course. They know how to teach the rules of the road and techniques for successful completion.
• The time required: This course is eight-hours long vs. the traditional 36-hour Driver's education course offered to high school students.
• The price: $150 vs. the typical cost of $200-250 charged by most other driver training schools
• The support: DTW Driving School is supported by Drive-To-Work, a non-profit corporation which, for the past 10 years, has assisted low income and previously incarcerated persons to restore their driving privileges so they can drive to work and keep a job.

Other driver training schools are currently authorized to offer Drive-To-Work's 8-Hour Driver's Manual Course approved by DMV. These schools serve other areas of the State. If a driver training school is not listed, then it is NOT licensed to offer the Course and cannot give you a certificate of completion for this Course. Tell your school to contact Drive-To-Work.
