What We Do

• Drive-To-Work helps low-income or previously incarcerated persons to get their driver’s license and get a job. If you have a license, it improves your chances to land a better job, earn more money, and create more opportunities for you and your family.
• Our legal team will represent you to gain or restore your driver’s license and assist you to remove the issues on your DMV Compliance Summary.

Why Drive-To-Work?

• We will save you time. We know the people, procedures, and paperwork you need to help you get your license.
• We will save you money. Because of a generous grant, you only pay a small portion of your legal expenses. Your share of legal services is a flat fee of $300, with no hourly rate or hidden costs. The grant pays the rest.

Our Results

Many people have had success with our program. Since 2007, we have received more than 14,750 inquiries from individuals and their families. Between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, we saw:

• 360 new inquirers
• 344 new applicants
• 107 new applicants educated
• 62 new clients
• 11 licenses restored

How It Works

• Click here to apply online. Thanks to a grant, there is no charge to apply.
• We will review your driving record and let you know whether we can help you.
• If you want us to represent you, we will send you documents that you must complete, sign, and return to us. Once we receive those, with your payment, you will become our client.
