Nakisha wrote to her congressman expressing her concern with not being able to obtain a drivers license due to court costs and fines in several different counties. He advised her to contact Drive-To-Work. DTW helped her start a payment plan for every county where she had court costs and fines. The judge ordered a restricted license be granted. Three years ago, the clerk reinstated her driver’s license without restriction. Nakisha lives in Caroline County and works a sub-contractor for a major wireless company.
